Jamaicans dont like wood leaving their island. Theres no specialty wood stores like here that i found either. You gotta find a guy that inows the tree and pay him to go machete it down then stuff it in your suitcase and pray! Not that i would do such a thing 
. I would have tried to help you out but we came up with a few extra bucks this year so we are going to maya riviera instead for christmas this year. I do recommend everyone go to jamaica at least once though!! Forget about any horror stories you might hear, if you look at actual statistics its much more dangerous in detroit or chicago.
