A few years ago my daughter asked for a wand for Christmas.

Since then I have made over 180 of them.

I sell my items at some local craft fairs and it is a delight to see the excitement some people have when they see them.

Bye for now,

I made one eons ago...shortly after Harry Potter came out. It's still floating around the house somewhere though the child I made it for recently turned 21!

I'm impressed with the nearly 200 you've made!

Nice workmanship I really like the first one with two different woods. Is the last one ebony?
I made one for a special request but haven't made any others. Like Terry q I would be interested in what you sell them for. Thanks

Nice wandage. I especially like the first one and the fact that you are adding cabochons or something similar to the tops.

It's a shame you just can't make one and then wave it around a bit to come up the rest.:rolleyes:

They look great, I too have made a few, but not near that many.
Remember the wand chooses the wizard.

The woods I used left to right are:

Yellowheart & Purpleheart, Bubinga, Yellowheart and Wenge.

Wenge is really splintery stuff and you have to be careful not to get stuck too many times.

I made one for my daughter out of Ebony but the cost is too high to sell.

I finish them with friction polish

Prices start at 20.00 and up depending on the wood.

Children of all ages by them. One notable event was when two ladies bought a wand for one of their friends. They had a ball picking it out.

Thanks for the comments!

Bye
