Criss cross bowl. 8 Walnut Spline in lays in this 8 inch Ash blank make up the bowl 8x2.24.

Ken: Agree as it's start come together, I found the 8 inlays looks much better that the 12. Still working out some issue on alignment.
This one was a real pain as the blanks was very dry Ash that I had in stash for several years and end grain was a killer to keep from tear out.
However it did come out ok. With very very sharp edge on the shear mode.

now that's a cracker ! It must have taken a while to centralise properly and a whole lot of patience

Inspired by Kip Lockard You tube on the process. Getting alignment down was big problem when making the jig.

As a former segmenter, I still look at the middle sections/dimensions to see if they are close to being similiar. Yours are! Well done. I envy/appreciate your precision.
