Went to aa estate auction yesterday.They had rough sawn lumber and couple of wood lathes listed.Both lates were custom built.I picked up 1, the other was a little sketchy.It appears he tried to make a 36"swing spindle lathe out of 1" angle iron.
That's not why you clicked,here is the score.Varoius slabs,some 5" thick,mosty 3" thick. up to 18" wide and 48" long.I had to break out the credit card to pay for it but I just couldn't let it get away.$80
