What is the thickness of the doors, Peter? Your pattern, I suppose? Great looker!

I have a source in MI of some crotch walnut that would make great book matched doors.

Hi Mack,

the doors are just a shade under 1/2" thick and the design is totally mine and 'no plans were harmed' in making this case. :eek:One of and I will not do another that will be alike. I made a similar case but changed the design by attaching a 'guillotine' style sliding door made with smoked plexiglass.

The only trouble with that case is I would be looking at the case and admiring you skill in making it and forget the pens! Very nice!
