Just had to give this inlay stuff a try.
Walnut and gold glitter---clip is on the other side of the pen.
It's all done by hand --no fancy drill holder/guide thing.
Slimline kit---finish coat of Ren wax

I bought the stuff at Wallyworld.
The big trick is reading the instructions that YO-Yo wrote.
I just looked at the pics and tried this---did not work right.
Funny how that happens[:p]

Bill it feels smooth.
Ed does a real good job with instructions.
I cut the biggest part of the slot out with a Dermal and squared the corners with a craft knife.

Dang, first it was flowered pens..so off we go to Walmart so Connie can buy flower decals...now its glitter inlays...I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts she's got lots of glitter in her craft supplies...lol..........COOL PEN!!

I started with the very Fine glitter--which you would need for the small stuff---like the bands or dots on the maple pens. Things as big as this cross---found in the wifes craft supplies. Just plain old regular glitter.
I figure if these sell I will move up to the crushed stone.
Or maybe something real fancy
