I made this for my nephew, who works on a fishing boat in the Bering Sea. It's a Voyager pen in gunmetal, from Woodturningz. Lots of cool details. The blank is an AA called Breaking Waves, also from Woodturningz. I'm very happy with it.

It looked a little translucent to me, so I backpainted the blanks with Rustoleum spray paint called Seaside. I also painted the tubes and colored the epoxy with it. I don't know if it changed the look or not, but I do like the finished product.

I like that a lot. And I suspect you did well to tint the glue - I do that regularly.

Very nice finished pen.
