A dear Samoan family of five asked me for a set of pens.

I asked them what binds them in addition to their bold family ties and faith, and they said: "bold colors".

I then asked if they have vivid dreams: "YES".

I told them we must have some shared chroma-genome.

We six are happy.

These techniques are still evolving and took root in my "Art" Nouveau posting, here:
http://www.penturners.org/forum/f13/meet-arthur-art-nouveau-154635/

I'll share the little method as it matures, and if there is interest.

Happy Tuesday to all - Bob

Lovely pens, Bob !!

Can't keep up to your innovativeness !! :)

Who's the "sixth" ?

Would very much like to hear about the "little method" when you get to the point of sharing it, please.

Many thanks for kind words - more ViviDreams ahead!

Mal - "we six" refers to the Samoan family of five + me - we are happy. I can't speak for the pens, but they seem to be happy too.

Once again ,another set of beautiful pens. The depth of your imagination and the ability to bring it to reality amazes and inspires me. Thanks for sharing.

Fostering Yet Another Family, Bob?
Your Samoan Family and their Vivid Dreams, are Spectacular.
The Blanks look like every Piece is Strategically Placed, and held in Suspension, as ones Eye's drift down the Enthralling Path, Capturing the Impact of those Spectacular Vivid Colours.

The Samoan's are Beautiful People,
They live on Beautiful Pacific Islands,
Surrounded by Beautiful Clear Blue Water, and Golden Sand.

Congratulations Bob, You have Captured them in Perfectly in your Vivid Family.

Brilliant as Always my Friend,
Brian.

Fabulous as usual, Bob! I will tell you that I am always interested in following the process on your work.

You've developed an art to your presentation that adds to the final product. Seeing the techniques and process is educational and inspiring.

Many thanks!

Many thanks for your kind words Brian, Bryan, and Ankur!

Brian - I wholeheartedly agree about Samoans!
Vivid dreams in Samoan language = lagona manino

Warm regards, Bob

Stunning as always. I spent days going back and looking at the process photos. Neat process. I have been thinking about it in short sections, then casting ends of plain material so that I can cut threads. (I'm thinking the process you used would rise havoc when trying to thread for kitless joint walls that are less than a millimeter thick. Excellent food for thought.

Thanks, Gregory!

I've not (yet) embarked on kitless pen making since I'm still obsessed with the barrel microcosm as "cylindrical canvas" (and seem have cultivated a tiny following despite my repetitive use of Virage FP and Slimline stylus kits).

Short "art" sections with plain and workable ends would probably be the way to go.

I hope to translate some of my methods to kitless in the not-too-distant future, and will keep you posted.

Warm regards, Bob
