'Twas a good visit. Pool was actually crystal clear but I forgot my Speedo. Thanks, Mike, for the BBQ, Ernie for the taste of whiskey and Mark for the wood!

One of the more subtle benefits of IAP is making TRUE friends.

I have reflected many times to my non-IAP friends, that I could start on the east coast on the USA and drive to the west coast and schedule breakfast, lunch and dinner meet-ups with IAP members that I have never met, but may have seen their membership name on IAP. I have full confidence in this! IAP is a very unique community and should take pride in this diversity.

Ernie is about 7 hrs away from my house. But I am at my In-Laws 2-3x/month and that is halfway. So todays visit was only 3.5 hrs each way. Not bad for an old geezer!

The time spent with a friend is very precious to me. I don't do it enough!!!

Thanks Indiana Parrot Head for the Lunch!
Thanks Mr Ducks for taking the wood!
Thanks to ALL the medical staff who made this meeting possible by tending to our buddy Ernie!!!
Kudos, to Brad, Mary, Ernie Sr, Rhiannon, and now especially Rob! You folks are rare burls...

REALLY A SPEEDO! Just kidding Mike. Montana has like zero turners for pens that I've found. One in billings that's an overnighter for sure. I'm a bit jealous but there is a wood turners club that I'll be joining, probably, when I move in July (hopefully).

Where are you moving to? Originally from Joliet MT. Sister and Bro in law live in Roundup. He is a regular at the wood store in Helena. We are trying to pick a day when we can go to Helena next time we head north from Colorado,

The home is under construction right now and we're hoping for a July move in. It's in a town called Ulm, just south of Great Falls. Are you talking about Helena Hardwoods? Nice store and a great selection of some very nice wood.
