I had a buddy send me a nice straight razor he had and wanted restored to a everyday shaver. But it was rusted and had cell rot. I changed the scales to a micarta scale, cleaned up blade, and honed it to 15k. Just a few pics

Looks great! What happened to the original scales? I have a few "Eye" brand knives in my collection - all in yellow scales.
Original scales had Cell Rot. Which is common with vintage scales. I take the accent pieces off and toss the scales
