This kit had been laying around the shop, for at least 12 years. Finally decided to go through my "random" bushings and see if I could get the tubes onto a mandrel.
Hut called it a Tandem kit, because it came with rollerball & fountain parts. The aluminum bodies already had glued brass tubes. Both the top and the bottom tubes had different inner diameters. Bigger at the middle.
Despite the fact it took me over an hour to find suitable bushings, it was really a fun project. No drilling, backpainting, gluing or end facing!
I turned it with my fingernail gouge. Sanded and polished it, just like it was acrylic. It came out better than the first one I made (pre-history)
