Vibration in lathe ??

Ok now I have a small vibration in the head stock side of my lathe , I can feel it while turnning . The pens are fine and all seems ok . I changed the mandrel in case it was that and it never fixed it ! Anyone have a clue ? Its Nova Mercury VS lathe ..I can't feel it on the right side blank when I am turning but I can feel it on the left side blank closest to the head stock . This has me concerned guys HELP .I hope this is NOT a BIG problem coming:( .

Its NOT effecting my abilty to turn but IF it was to get worse I am sure it would .

The Mercury is an electronic VS lathe; but the vibration could still be from a belt that is failing. Probably the next thing to look for would be a loose pulley. This is such a very difficult thing to diagnose from a distance, I would advise you invest some time and money in a call to the manufacturer's customer service people. If there are some standard things that go wrong with that particular model, they will be the guys who know best!!
 
The belt is about 3 years old and I turn a LOT . It acted up a few weeks ago and I put some belt dressing on it and that seem to cure it but now I guess it didn't But I am going to call the USA dist if I can find a phone number ! [?]
 
Well guys I must have a belt that a little worn ! I sprayed some belt dressing on it this morning as the owners manual says to do and it stoped it . problem for now solved :O) Thanks for all the advice . I looked in the manual last like any good man would do :O) [:D]

O I agree but I got to much work backed up to do it for a couple a weeks and it did fix it like the manual said :O) . So yappers I am going to change it ASAP [:D]looks like a real PITA to change thou errrrrrr[V]
