This is a PSI Vesper click pen in gold. The wood is spalted tamarind from Woodturningz. The finish is Pens Plus.

Very nice!! I have the same kit sitting beside me waiting for the Olivewood to set before I put it on the lathe. I just got in a couple Spalted Tamarind blanks...maybe I'll do one also.

That's a beauty!

I have a spalted tamarind board a i picked up a couple of years ago. It seems pretty soft. I assumed I would need to stabilize it before turning. That said, I don't have a vacuum chamber. Maybe this is the perfect excuse to make the investment.

Yes, it is relatively soft, but I've turned several with no problems. I've also turned several stabilized spalted tamarind blanks. Woodcraft sells them.
