Very Simple Segmented Pen

This is a very simple design adorning the newest Liberty click edition from McKenzie Pen Works. The main wood is Holly and the end caps are dyed and stabilized maple burl. The spacer material is vulcanized fiber paper. Comments and critiques always welcomed.

Following Mark's comment, how does one put together a segmented blank and keep the two end pieces equal length? Pondering some segmented blanks this week.
I usually build the middle section first, from there it's just simple math to determine the end cap length, giving yourself a little extra for trimming. It's quite a bit easier building the blank before you drill it.
