Hi to all of you reading this. My name is Jim and I consider myself a novice turner. Like a lot of you I don't get to spend as much time in my shop as I would like. I enjoy working with new materials to see what I can create.

As I looked through this forum I was impressed by countless creations made from unique materials by some very talented people. I also found what seemed to be some very nice people willing to help solve the problems of other members. I look forward to contributing in the future.

Sincerely,
JJ

Jim,

Welcome aboard. I'm just south of Williamsport and am too lazy right now to MapQuest Easton, so I don't know if we are close neighbors. We have got a nice crew in PA, but we are sort of spread out over the state.

pay? PAY???

um.. ok. But I ah ... I left my wallet in mo other pants.
and somebody borrowed them. I forget who it was.

Oh, right.. it was Cav. So . .just go to Cav and grab the money out
of my wallet.

Don't worry if he pretends it's his. He's very protective that way.
And he's very determined.. so you might have to be firm with him.

Just stop in his office, sit him down in a dental chair, pick up
one of the tools close by and ask him

"Is it safe?"

That's the password. After that, you can probably have anything
you want.

Let's see:

You're in the Luxor in Vegas and you LOSE your PANTS!!!!

Now, you might want to claim you were gambling and had no idea what the stakes were. OR, you might have been in your room with a "trading card girl" and try the "What happens is Vegas, stays in Vegas" approach.

Trying to blame Cav is wwweeeeelllllllll a STRETCH!!

Let's see:

You're in the Luxor in Vegas and Cav steals your PANTS!!!!

You saw him do it? Good. You can be a witness.
You haven't seen him deny it, have you? Have you?
Didn't think so.

Now, you might want to claim you were gambling and had no idea what the stakes were.

That's where the shirt went.

OR, you might have been in your room with a "trading card girl" and try the "What happens is Vegas, stays in Vegas" approach.

I'm going to have to go look up 'trading card girl' and see what it means.
It sounds dirty.

I kinda like it.

Trying to blame Cav is a swwweeeeelllllllll idea!!

Schweet!

THERE YOU GO!!!!

Ignorance of the "trading card girl's" method of making a living!!!!

That should work - your wallet is in better hands, anyway
(Well trained hands).

Thank you all for such a warm welcome. I'm still learning my way around this forum software so I may be a little slow but I will catch up.
