This is a vase I turned. Will be a birthday present for my Gram. Really happy with the figure and grain in this piece of camphor. It accepts a glass test tube to allow it to take water. I finished it with doctors pens plus, then carnuba on the buffing wheel. I'm really happy with the wax top coat. First time I've done that. Gives it a really nice shine without looking plasticky (which I dislike on things other than pens) and retains the feel of the wood. The photography leaves a lot to be desired.
