Did anybody turn anything interesting for valentines day gifts?

I've only been turning for a month, so my stuff is nothing impressive, but I turned a little bud vase for my wife and little spinning tops for the kids.

Nope but let my wife think I did not like Valentine's day and did not get anything. When she is rushing off to get the kids to school she will see Ghiradelli (SP) chocolate on her dash. When I left this morning she was pretty ticked off at me.

I didn't turn anything for Valentine's Day but I am taking my family to White Castle for dinner. They actually have a fun deal for Valentine's Day. Table side service, table cloths and flowers on the table.
Best of all, my wife looks forward to it!

Hey Penguin I,m sure she would love the coal as long as it's been under pressure for a long time. Just a thought, how long and how much pressure would it take in a HF pot to convert the coal?

with the intense pressure present in my house lately - I could just leave it laying around for a few minutes - that ought to do the trick.

I didn't turn anything, but I did make some
dysfunctional valentines..

We just went out for primerib at a local place. Her birthday is the 9th and I gave her something for that. We gave each other 'shortie' pajamas with hearts (of course it is not short pj season so we put them on over our regular sleep wear.

Charlie the candy's awsome. I was with some friends last night and we were talking about that type of candy. One of the women said she loved that style so I couldn't wait to send your picture to the group. Thanks for the laugh.
