Vacuum/Pressure guage?

Hey all,

Don mentioned in another thread he'd found a guage that measured both Vacuum and Pressure in one and I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to begin my search for one of these?

I have never done any pressure/vacuum stuff so i'm kind of at a loss and apologize if a simple search somewhere would yield the answers I seek.

You can look at grainger.com or mcmaster.com for these pressure gages. Both carry a wide variety of pressure gages at reasonable prices.

Another source are HVAC gauges.
They are price, but they also come with the manifold and valves.
HF runs a set for about 34.00 on sale occasionally.
Bear in mind the fittings are different on HVAC set-ups if you choose to go this route.

Beamer, I bought mine at Advance Auto Parts (vac/pressure combo in one gauge). I think it was ~$25. I will get my next gauge from the local Grainger store.

This is a gauge available from MSC. Disregard the picture as they use the same picture for all samples. If the link does not work, copy it and paste it into your browser. You can also just do a search for MSC and search for gauges.

So the "30-0-100" measurement - i assume that's 30hg to 0 to 100psi?

That's correct. They also have a few different ranges if you need them....
