Using two different resins

I have a little bit of Castin Craft resin left from previous blank making. I've just received a quart of Silmar 41 to try.

Would there be a problem mixing the two together in a mold after each has been colored, catalyst added and have thickened to pouring consistency?

I have not tried to mix the two resins but they are both polyester resins so, in my opinion, it should work ok. Just my opinion.

I also use both of those. I never pour more than 4 oz. at a time but when running out of one I will top off the amount need with the other. I never could tell the difference. I never have mixed the two to store. I want to make sure I use the oldest resin first.
