My Design Pen Mill.

Made a 1/2 inch split double collar to clamp to the Mill Drill Quill.
On the outboard fitted a 1/4 inch DeWalt finishing Router clamped in place.
Now I have up down movement held in place by modified Drill Clamp accuracy using digital measurement.
Using a mini Metal Lathe fitted to an Aluminium block clamped to the lathe bed.
The Lathe Bed was anodised for me.
X and Y Axis with handwheels to the moving table. Router fixed speed 30000 rpm.Switch located on top of the Router.
Indexing by 72 toothed gear locked to the head stock shaft. Held in place by a small matching gear spring loaded into place.
Brass sleeve fitted to a sliding 3/8 fit depth to the pen mandrel.
Lots of mods since this pic including a vac take off behind the cut to a wet and dry Vac.
Have fun Peter.
