Pearl Ex is great for many things, especially casting. Luckily it plays a large role in my wife's poly clay jewelry making, so it serves double duty in our home!

Try drilling holes in your pen barrels (not too deep, you don't want to go through the brass tube) and filling them with that powder followed by soaking in thin CA? Will add some colour to your pens!
