I have had a Craftsman for years & it is "good for what it is intended for" but I think this larger capacity saw with it's 220v motor will chop out those larger bowl blanks much easier!

I am so jealous!! My bandsaw motor just bit the dust, and I'm in the process of upgrading the motor, and a few other tweaks. But it won't be able to touch that beast.

Phillip, that was a leap up, not just a step.
Just make sure to tune it properly and yes, it should serve your cutting wishes well.

That is sweet, I got to use a friend's 17" grizzly yesterday, 1" blade, 2 hp, hoss. A lot better than a 10" craftman for sure
