As most of you know that I've been going through alot of pain with this pinched nerve in my back. I've had 2 sets of steroid injections without a minute of improvement or relief. Also a plethora of meds that haven't done much but make my IQ drop to 35.

Today I had my followup appointment with my back specialist and they're recommending I have a consulation with one of their neurosurgeons. We'll see what he has to say and what some of my options are. Well their office called an hour ago and asked if I could come in tomorrow. So atleast now I won't have to wait and guess at what might be going on.

I'll keep yall updated as things progress, but I wanted to let yall know where I'm at right now. Everyone here has been so supportive and helpful and I appreciate it all. So if yall can spare a prayer this way that'd be wonderful!

Really hope they find how best to help you! I will say a prayer.

As I get older I start to realize that no injury is a small injury.

Get in there and get it fixed. Stop fooling around with any other healing ideas. Some things need to be cut and fixed. Did mine several years ago. The only regrets is when I do not exercise or stay active. Good luck and keep us posted. I owe a bunch of prayers.

I know whatcha your going thru, 8 years now with mine from getting hit at a stop light. Hope everything turns out good for you and you never have back issuses again, its not fun living with it every day. Keep you and your family in our prayers.

Good luck! We're all too familiar with neurosurgeons here. Get a good one who listens to you. And please let us know what they say!

I too have back problems and the quacks gave me a patch called Sovenor 5mg. One per week worn on the upper chest. Its a schedule 6 medication and although Im still waiting for them to deliver it, the doc reckons it will almost eliminate my pain.
Might be something to enquire about!

Good luck with the cutters :)

Hope the surgeon can find a solution to your sore back. It is time to get it fixed. My biggest regret was that I waited so long to have mine fixed. Thoughts and prayers your way.

Jonathon,
I hope you can get it going. You need to be able to roll on the floor and play with that beautiful baby of yours.

LISTEN TO YOUR DOC.
LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE!

Not much to update with yet. My new doc wants a MRI done to compare to my one from June. That's happening Monday. I see the doc right after the MRI so I'm guessing we'll talk about options then.

Praying for you Jonathon, the doctors, the specialist, wisdom for you and the right decision for the correct procedures.
You have been keeping IAP informed and that helps us to pray informed.
