:doctor::doctor: It has been a little over two weeks now since I ran my thumb over the blade of my table saw. Went to see the plastic surgeon today to have it looked at. He said we should leave the stiches in another week to keep the gap closed. He also said it looked good, but I would not post a photo of it the way it looks now !! I never knew how much you used your thumb every day, or the amount of gripping power you have between the thumb and fingers. Pain has not been bad and a couple of Tylonal at night will get me through. Thank you all for your thoughts and conserns. and, above all, be careful around your old friends in your shop. Lesson to be learned !!!!! Even an old dog wets his leg once in a while !! Jim S
