Hi folks,

Linda is doing some better today, they gave her about 6 breathing ( I lost track of how many ) treatments in the first few hours, and have her O2 levels up to 94-96 % and she is breathing easier, but the steroids they have to use, beat the heck out of the immune system so it is a rock and a hard spot, if they don't give the steroids she can't breathe and when they do, even a regular cold that most people can shake off, could take her from us.

She does regular breathing treatments at home, but with little immune system, the babys cold (5 year old grandson that has to be next to his nanny) hit her hard, and even though she has not felt good for the last few days, there is no way to make a stubborn Redhead go to the doctor if she does not want to ( you have to be married to one to understand ).

So hopefully we will have her home in a couple of days and be thankful every day that she wakes up and can be with us, unfortunately COPD is not curable and we take one day at a time.

I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the well wishes and thoughts and Prayers because I know they made a difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Thank you Thank you

Joe:smile:

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers...SO glad she is stable..
...think the stubbornness pretty much includes all hair colors..It's a good thing because they fight just as hard when they're down. Doc.

Joe, we're so happy that she is better, I know about every day being important to be with our loved ones and also about red heads, Dee was a red head before nature (not me) turned it a beautiful grey (just in case she reads this) and she is still stubborn as a mule, so you have that to look forward to.

.. but i think reds are still genetically different than the rest:rolleyes::biggrin:, i USED to be married to one...

Glad she is pulling thru, I will continue sending prayers your way!

I'm really glad she is doing better!!
My big sister is called Lynda and her married surname is Storm and she is a redhead!!! Even though my brother and I are in our fifties, we still approach with caution:eek: Must be something we learned as kids:biggrin:

Some of us know that nature had a helping hand from a certain male (no names cough Roy cough). Just go ahead and take some of the credit

I am very glad to hear that your Linda is doing better! I know a little about being a stubborn red-head having been born that way! Enjoy every day you can as you said each is a gift and so very important.
