Update on My Mother in Law

I left yesterday morning headed back to the hospital to see my mother in law and also get Kathy, my wife. She had to begin work today after being off 2 weeks. About 2:00 pm she opened her eyes for the first time in 9 days. When we got to go back to visit at 4:30 pm she was wide awake, and had a small smile on her face. The team of Docs is supposed to talk to my father in law this morning and decide what treatment options are best for now. Thanks for all your prayers and concerns. Please keep praying.

Another update,
Went back to the hospital last night to see my mother in law, well they have moved her to another unit in an older part of the hospital, and the docs said that today and tomorrow will be critical days for her, in that if she does ok, they want to send her into rehab to see if she can help herself get up and down. Surgery is not an option, and if they do chemo, she will get worst before she gets better. So treatment may be out of the question also. She was talking a little bit last night. The worst option will be to send her home and let hospice help out. So please continue to pray for her and our family. Thanks again.
 
My mother in law had a bad night last night. Kathy talked to her sister this morning and said that she really confused this morning. The doc is supposed to talk to them today and see what steps are next. I will taking Kathy back to the hospital tonight after work and will come back late tonight. I love this lady, she is my second MOM, and I will do all I can for her. These trips are getting tiring though. Please pray for me today too. Thanks, Keith
