Thanks!My first thought was some kind of Kirinite as it usually has a thin ribbon running through it along with some level of pearlescence. Although I've also seen this same kind of combination and ribbon in a lot of Acrylic Acetate blanks too. - Sorry I don't have any suggestions. - Of course, the best of luck finding it (or something similar). - Dave
Thanks!I think the first link Fred posted is the one you're seeking. I have a made pen that matches the blank in your initial post. I have been searching for it, but didn't have luck.
It's acrylic acetate (AA), and I recall receiving it several years ago from either Beartooth, Woodcraft, or possibly Exotic Blanks. My bet is it's a Berea AA.
My notes say the blank I used was named "Stormy Seas," but that doesn't match the blanks with that name currently. Vendors often come up with their own names.
