Unknow Slimline - Wood ID help

I got this blank from....:question: I don't recall. It turned great and almost has a shimmer to it.

Anyone know what it is? The blank had a open grain with an almost stringy quality. Anyway I would love to know as I would like to get my hands on more of it in the future!

It does have that look I agree. But this was a hardwood and no awesome smell!

It looks very much like Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry), or possibly Andiroba, which isn't as hard as Jatoba, but also a wee bit of open grain, Jatoba is a slightly open grain but is beautiful, I just turned a couple of tool handles from it, and if I can figure out how to use my Android I'll post a picture here, it looks very much like the wood in question.

yes id say jatoba or some kind of plain species of rosewood
i have extremely similar looking jatoba
