I have a bunch of UHMW plastic bars and sheets I was going to use for router base jigs.
Can you turn finishing bushings out out of UHMW plastic instead of delrin or will CA stick to UHMW plastic?
Its supposed to be slippery like teflon for table saw jigs and stuff.
from woodcraft:
Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) material is a tough, heavy, dense plastic with self-lubricating properties that's great at reducing material to fence friction on router table fences or auxiliary table saw fences. Because UHMW is easily machined with carbide saw blades and carbide router bits it can also be used for table saw runners, router templates, or any project component where friction is a problem.
