From time to time I make a pen and the blank, just looks ugly to me. But it seems that someone down the line loves it. I remember lime green corain with a copper kit (slim). This woman about knocked me out trying to get it.

Anyone have pics of similar situations?

We've had that happen. You make a pen that is not as awesome looking as you thought that it would be. It languishes in inventory forever, to the point that you keep meaning to remove it from stock and disassembly it. Then out of the blue, a customer jumps at it.

No pictures, though, as we don't photograph every pen, so the plain janes and uglies never get shot.
 
It's amazing what some people like. I have sold pens that I couldn't stand to look at and people loved them. Sometimes I'll carry an ugly one just to watch reactions to it, they usually sell.
