Finished the pen today. Same good old packing crate wood, sanded to hex shape, then the ends are tapered into double hex and all sharp edges rounded of to present a near round shape. Now I have got the idea, and in case I want a full round like made in a lathe, I can make that, only a lot more time will be spent. I like the light colour and light grain of the wood. Please let me have your comments.
