So I completed two new kits for me today. The Derek is a gun metal finish. The blank is a buckeye burl with cast blue.
The Blade is American Chestnut. A while back I posted some pics of pens and a seem ripper I made for my Dad and his sisters. I got the wood from their dad, my grandpa. No telling how long Grandpa held onto this board.
