Of the 2 Photo's which background works best?

Sweet pens Roy. I have not seen those with the stone in the clip untill just now. I like the first background best. My opinion. Great job.

Would be easier to judge if the same pen had been used in each background . Also possible that dark and light coloured pens have different optimal backgrounds .

I like #2 but both look great!

I like # 2 but I'm blind AS A BAT. I think the difference in pen colors might have some bearing on the photos as well, I think the top pen would wash out in the second background. But the pens are nice, (even with the pimp stones)

Roy, it looks like the backgrounds are the same but just with different lighting. ( same marks in places:wink: )I prefer the first one.

Remember that different monitors will render photographs differently. Pictures that look good on my desktop lcd display look horrible on my laptop (and vice versa). With that in mind, your second picture looks better (on my laptop). The first one lacks contrast and the dark background draws my eye away from the pen. My eye is drawn to the pen in the second photo.
