What happened to the pen in the first picture? It looks like there is a hole in the finish, was there a spot where the epoxy was not mixed well and it didn't setup? I can see a spot on both the upper and lower blanks of the first pen, yellow on looks okay.

Mike, I saw the first pen on FB earlier today and wondered the same thing. Maybe we will hear an explanation?

I have not given any finish, 14000 grit sandpaper, eee UltraShine, and polish

Two Nice Pens
The Rossa is very attractive, though as mentioned by Indiana_Parrothead it appears to be a hole in the Blank.
The Yellow is very Striking.
Good Fit and Finish.
