Ok so it can be done with a cigar, with lengthed tube is the nib going to be an issue for other kits ? Good to see the spring in the back of the cartrige didn't work that would just be cumbersome. I was thinking a Jr. Gentlemen's Pen ball point pen double twist using roller ball.

schmidt has a 3 inch rollerball refill also, this should fit in any parker style pen with a spacer behind it. The only question is the diameter.

I think I would like to avoid the spacer. If all I need to do is adjust for length and the length of the nib was compatible with roller ball then I guess it is mountain out of mole hill on my part. The cartridge timcbs used in his cigar is what I had in mind. Something familiar to customers while not really advertising the brand.
