I milled this W B C cherry wood into boards from round firewood length logs about six years ago . Glued some strips of it into a 12" square board yesterday and proceeded to make a bowl . Did the finishing touches this morning .

That is light reflections from overhead lighting .High gloss has a tendency to do that and my smart phone takes such good pictures that it shows everything as well as my defects :wink:
I don't see any defects, just really good craftsmanship.

Is this from one board where you cut rings and glue them together? Beautiful workmanship and the wood is fantastic.

Yes , that is made from one flat board .
Thanks to all here that responded and sorry for my late reply. I have been doing some major outdoor work as well as doing some camping as well as entertaining with singing and playing guitar about three times a week lately.
Finally getting a little more time on the computer .
