Turning a Broadwell Sculpt pen from Penn State

Hello, hopefully someone could help me with an answer. I am sure everyone has a ghost in their woodshop that hides things when you need them and returns them when you do not need them.

I know the Broadwell pen uses a .492 drill bit. This is what is missing. Will a 31/64 drill bit work or is it the same thing?

I have been out of penturning for a little over 2 years and please forgive me if this is something I should know the answer to.

It's a little bit smaller .4844.

What I have done, is to measure the brass tube ,with my calipers ,then go to my bits to find one ,as I have collected a lot of bits over the years. Most of the time, I can find a match.

The broadwell pens use the 12.5 mm and the 10.5 mm bits

It is also the same as the Statesman Jr or Majestic Jr. - Drills

I asked about this in a round about way here (http://www.penturners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=57819) and it was mentioned that a 1/2" bit and gorilla glue would most likely work fine. I ended up just using a 12.5mm bit that came with the kit.
