When I retired last August my children gave me a new lathe and encouraged me to turn some bowls.
Back in November I took a class on turning wet bowls and had a blast. Here are the two now finished:
5 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches:
6 1/2 x 2 inches:
I have forgotten what type of wood it is
I had a lot of fun with these and learned a whole lot. Including the need to end my turning with a smoother cut since sanding after the bowls dried proved nigh unto impossible.
