Turned Clock

I took a break from pen making to play around with something different for a change. Here's a Walnut clock surround on a Rosewood base. The clock measures 9.25" dia. I turned a piece of polycarbonate and scroll sawed it to attach to the rear of the skeleton movement so that the mechanism arrears to "float" inside the ring. It was difficult to photograph due to the convex glass that I repurposed from a $9 Walmart clock :redface:
