A twelve brite three lead Turks Head or maybe a braid of some type. Whatever it is it repeats three time around the pen. Wood is X DI.

Very interesting and nice idea Chuck key look like your barrel is thick a sugestion come to my mind, just router it deeper fill with white or other colour PR turn it down your design will come out better did you make it with the new Beall pen wizard?

Way to go Chuckie! Did it take you longer to make your own version of the PW or to cut the design on the pen? I really thought you would have had it done a few days earlier. I suppose you used your shop made mill. You never cease to amaze me.
