Used a slate call I made from Canary wood.

Called in my brother's first turkey sat. using this call I made last week.

I did a google search the other day on this very subject and found several interesting tutorial type threads on other forums. I didnt bookmark any of them, but they are pretty easy to find!

I have been making calls for 5 years now. I started by ordering a call kit from brookside game calls. I then started making my own. I still order the slate and glass from them. I use goop to glue the glass and sound boards. CA glue does not work. There are probably tuts out there.

Great work, i have been making some Goose calls. Been looking into the pot calls a lot. That is my next call to do, also the trumpet turkey call looks interesting to try. There are tutorials at Tho Game Calls. Carl
