tru oil finsh

hi guys i got a pen in the jan pith ( which i have not posted yet will do it by sunday) and he used tru oil to finsh the pen i loved the way it turned out so my question is how do u do a tru oil fish do u just put on several layers and buff or is there any thing else that needs to be done

Apply it like any other oil coating. Since tru oil is 56% mineral spirits, 33% modified oil (like polymerized linseed oil) and 11% linseed oil you can use a good number of things to apply it, old t-shirt, shop towel, toothbrush, hands, what not.
