I am working on a project that is commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation so I chose this coin to be a part of it.

Did you cut out the "$" & the "5"? If so, that's amazing.

Ok it's amazing either way.

How big is the coin? Say compared to a Susan B.

Very nice Seamus. Do you have to file much once you have finished scroll sawing.???
Lin.

with the blades that i use being so fine, there isnt much left to file, but i do use one just to clean up some of the edges and make them "clean" so to speak.

Actually, this picture is deceiving, i did not cut out the $5, although it appears that way. I debated doing so, but decided to leave it alone for appearance purposes. This coin is around 2mm wider than a 50cent piece. Thank you for all of the compliments.

Derek, i have to take advantage of the time when i get it, to cut as many coins as possible:biggrin:
