Trouble finding tool...

I recently saw this tool in a catalog and haven't been able to find it again. It was designed to simultaneously place 5 or 6 fine grooves close together in the wood, mainly for a grip near the pen nib. If anyone remembers who sells these...thanks.

Why don't you use an old bandsaw or scrollsaw blade? Cut a section long enough to cut the grooves.

It looks like the external or male thread tool of a thread chasing tool set..

Look in gunsmith supply catalogs for checkering tools. You can do the same with one of those.
