Bought on a group buy a few years ago - never used.

Specs of tap and die:
M12.0 x 0.8P x 2.4L triple start taper-style tap, Standard Class 6H, 4 Flute
M12.0 x 0.8P x 2.4L triple start 1" OD Round adjustable die


$95 includes shipping in small FR box. Reasonable offer considered.

Wow. I guess I wasn't even considered although I had the first posted response. I would have considered cash if a trade wasn't possible.

I missed out too, due, I am told, to a prior PM sent to the seller. . As you say, Rick ... Oh, well.

My opinion is that all offers to buy should be posted in the original thread and should be considered in the order posted; in this way, everybody knows where they stand.

I happened to be on the site and pm'd him just a few minutes after he posted it for sale. And in fairness, he did consider the times of who had contacted him or expressed interest first. He had replied to my message that based on time, I was first in line and that if I didn't want them, he had someone else interested.

My message to him was time stamped 8:40pm, the tap and die was posted 8:35.

Fair enough. . I still think the seller should state that potential buyers should post in the thread so that everyone knows where they stand. I spent several hours rubbing my hands with glee thinking that I was the successful one !!! ... LOL ... :biggrin::biggrin: !!
