Enjoy the recuperation and now is the time to train others to wait on you!
I have talked with a few friends who had bypass surgery and find different experiences.
I had a strict regimen and plenty of people who watched after me, "coached" me and pushed me without over-pushing. Those who pushed (without over-pushing) it seems to do well. But there were those in PT who just did as little as they could and did not exert much. They did not come close to over exertion according to the wire taps

on our chest.! We were wired up and anytime anyone tried to over-push it, it would tell on them. I got taken off the tread mill twice because my blood pressure or heart rate was increasing too fast. Once, I was feeling good about 4 weeks in and decided I could increase my treadmill angle. It told on me! Another time, I was just doing normal but had a sudden heartbeat increase. My PT was from February 1 to mid May. I enjoyed it and made some new friends, including a couple of the PT personnel.
