I got a couple of new blanks from bearToothWoods a few weeks back and finally got around to testing them out.

The Glacia and Sierra are made using Chocolate Toffee Crunch.
I painted the drilled blanks and the brass tubes with white paint.

The Atrax was made using a Tortoise Pebble blank.
I also painted the drilled blanks and the brass tubes with white.

I am in the process of making a Cigar pen with this blank and painting tubes and blank black. This seemed a bit light to me.

I used what kits I had to go with the blanks. I think gold would work better with all of them or perhaps gunmetal.

Thanks for posting, James.

I agree that for the first pen a gold Glacia hardware set would look more attractive than the chrome. . The other two are great !!

I made a Cigar Pen using the Tortoise Pebble blank but painted the tubes and blanks black. It is a big difference in the final look.
