Tribute To Eddie Van Halen

I did this pen at least 10 years ago for a Midwest Pen Turners Gathering back in Champaign Illinois. The inspiration was Eddie Van Halen's Frankenstein / FrankenStrat guitar and later many of the album covers. I used a red blank and the black and white accents are guitar pickguard material. Always has been one of my favorites.

Thanks - It is just a red blank and pickguard material. Random cut the blank on a band saw and glue it back together. Getting the glue up is the hardest part. Try it - the more the better the tribute.

Love the pen Mark! There's no mistaking that collage of colors. A beautiful tribute for such a sad loss. Thankfully we will always have the music. I would love to see this one on the front page. Lots of memories listening to their songs. Van Halen Rocks!
