My wife's mother passed away recently after losing her battle with cancer. Her funeral is this weekend. She was an Artist and painted a lot of nature settings. The pens are made from label cast from a panoramic painting of one of her favorite spots to paint. I made one for my father-in-law, my wife, and my three brother-in-laws. The bottom pen is cast in the opposite direction for my left handed wife. The long clicker pen was the right demensions for the painting to have no cropping or distortion to the image.

Your pens turned out beautiful and the meaning and memories attached make them priceless. My prayers and sympathies go out to you and your family.

My sympathies for your loss and I agree it is a beautiful tribute. You got me thinking about my own mother whose health is frail at 89 and has given us some scares in the last year. She is a also a painter but has not been able to do much lately so this is an awesome idea of something she would enjoy.

Regards,
Ray
