Turned from a solid round bar of twisted mokume gane with nickel-silver, brass and copper. On a Liberty ballpoint component set. Used leftovers in a rolling mill to make a set of earrings. Feldspar rubbed to shear off any smeared metal and patina applied to bring out all three colors. The pen is a bit heavy...or sturdy:wink:. Had fun making it! Doc:smile:

Steven, Thank you!! Doc:smile:

looks good. Did you buy or make the mokume? and nice findings I like that style

Hi Vincent,
I buy the Mokume I use for kitless pens and jewelry from professional metalsmith like you. His name is Mike Sakmar. I normally use the round bars, two or three metals, and im twisted and random forms.
Thank you!

Glorious Work, Doc.
Superb Pens, and Magnificent Mokume Gane Blanks,
Outstanding Fit and Finish.
Love the Earrings (not that I wear them).
Doc, if the Pen is Heavy, then how is the weight of the Earrings, or will the Wearer develop Extended Lobes?
Congratulations on your Fantastic Craftsmanship.
Brian.
